Das Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte (BfArM),
das der Aufsicht des Bundesgesundheitsministeriums untersteht,
hat einem Multiple-Sklerose-Patienten untersagt, Cannabis selbst
anzubauen. Der Bescheid vom 10. August wurde vor allem
begründet mit Sicherheitsbedenken beim Anbau in der Wohnung,
einer erhöhten Gefahr für Missbrauch, der Verwendung einer nicht
standardisierten Substanz und der Schädigung des internationalen
Ansehens Deutschlands.

New this fall The University of Arkansas has decided to equalize penalties when it comes to marijuana and alcohol possession on campus.

Last year a misdemeanor pot possession, which consists of an ounce or less, resulted in a mental health evaluation, 50 hours community service, suspended parking privileges for one year, one year probation and a $200 fine.

Nine people face drug charges after a $15-million seizure of marijuana in Tyendinaga Township.

Several Ontario Provincial Police units descended upon the property Thursday as part of the ongoing Project Roundup antidrug program.

Const. Chris Quenneville of Napanee OPP said the officers found a growing operation with plants in various stages of production.

They seized about 15,000 plants and 600 pounds of buds. Police said the seizure's estimated street value is $15 million.
