Die italienische Polizei hat zwei Drogenhändlerringe in Norditalien gesprengt. Dabei nahmen rund 300 Fahnder der Mailänder Antimafia-Einheit rund 100 Menschen fest.

Mailand - Die Drogenbosse gehörten zwei kooperierenden Organisationen an, wie der italienische TV-Sender “Sky TG 24″ berichtete. Dabei war der eine Drogenring vor allem in Norditalien aktiv - unter anderem in den Provinzen von Mailand, Como, Varese, Turin und Genua.

Die niederländische Polizei hat um Hilfe bei der Verbrechensbekämpfung(?) gebeten: Rechtschaffene Mitbürger sollen mittels ihres Riechorgans den Beamten dabei helfen, illegale Cannabis-Plantagen aufzudecken.

Dazu hat die Polizei der Gemeinden Den Haag und Rotterdam 30’000 Rubbel-und-Riech-Karten verschickt. Die Karten geben einen stechenden Cannabis-Geruch ab, sodass die Bürger wissen, wann sie es mit einer Plantage in ihrer Nachbarschaft zu tun haben.

Auf den Karten steht: "Von nun an werden Sie die mögliche Gefahr einer illegalen Plantage in ihrer Nachbarschaft riechen". Bei Geruchsalarm sollen die Bürger die Polizei verständigen. Nur bis zu fünf Pflanzen dürfen in den Niederlanden für den Eigenbedarf angebaut werden.

A gang of alleged drug dealers have been caught after they were photographed at work by the Google Street View car.

The gang were selling heroin and marijuana outside a grocery store in Brooklyn, New York, when the Google driver went past and inadvertently took their picture.

The street corner where they worked was then put under surveillance and after watching them ply their trade police have now made six arrests.
