Der Lastwagen auf der A 8 war leer - zumindest auf den ersten Blick. Aber hinter einer Zwischenwand entdeckten Beamte der Zollfahndung Kempten 232 Kilogramm Marihuana, fein säuberlich abgepackt in 222 Päckchen. Wie das Zollfahndungsamt München gestern mitteilte, hatten die Beamten den albanischen Lastwagen bereits am 9. März auf der A 8 bei Leipheim kontrolliert. "Erfahrung und der richtige Riecher" habe die Zöllner dazu veranlasst, den Lkw für eine Kontrolle auszuwählen, der in Richtung Stuttgart unterwegs war, schreibt das Zollfahndungsamt. Und zunächst schien der Lastwagen, der mit einem albanischen Kennzeichen unterwegs war, auch unauffällig: Er hatte nichts geladen. Der Fahrer gab an, dass er unterwegs sei, um eine Ladung Zwiebeln in Holland zu holen.
