The Spanish Agency for Medicaments and Health Products, AEMPS, which is dependent on the Ministry for Health and Social Policy, has opened an investigation into 81 web pages for the illegal sale of medicaments on the internet.

Facebook may think it's "inappropriate" to run ads depicting marijuana leaves -- despite the fact that the ads were so popular, they got 38 million views -- but apparently Google has no problem with them.

Google agreed on Wednesday to run the ads, very similar to the ones nixed by Facebook, and which also contain images of marijuana leaves.

Whatever they're smoking at Facebook HQ, it's not marijuana.

The social networking website reportedly told the Just Say Now campaign, a group getting out the vote for Prop. 19, the November ballot measure that could legalize non-medical pot use, sales and production in California, that "the image of a marijuana leaf" was "no longer acceptable" for its Facebook advertising, according to Wired.
